| After cleaning the top of the headcover as well as you can around the stick coils, lift them out. They appear reluctant to come out at first, but they will come off with your bare hands. |

Note: The headcover is made of soft, lightweight magnesium, which will scratch rather easily, so if you use a screw-driver or tool to lever these out, use a rag or pad.

Once you've removed the stick coils, you can use a shop-vac to suck the grit & dirt out of the sparkplug holes.

I shudder to think of any of that dust falling into my chambers.

| This step sucks and blows. To help coax that dirt out, used canned air and the vaccuum at the same time... |

| Then wipe it out with a rag with a little spray cleaner on it. |

| And if you want to go the extra mile for your baby, spray a little cleaner on a q-tip and clean that sucker out. |

Now let's remove the coil cover on the right side of the engine. Just remove the (5) 10mm bolts and have a rag or catch basin underneath this area. There will be a little bit of oil in the coil chamber, but not much.
