I stopped at this pristine rest-area near Mount Shasta as the sun was setting on another beautiful day, and it dawned on me (pun intended) that the sun was also setting on my marriage, which was to officially end in just about four hours after this photo was taken. I called me ex-wife-to-be and wished her a happy life.
Foggy, sunny, or both, riding on the Golden Gate Bridge just never gets old.
I'd probably rather sit and marvel at this beautiful, old markee in San Luis Obispo
for two hours than go inside and endure the shlock it's advertising.
My homage to the Pashnit-guy. The sign has changed over the years,
but the trusty old tree remains, as does most of Big Sur's stellar beauty.
Seeing these happy guys made me eager to get home to my Angel-dog.
Breakfast of a buttery croissant and strong double-shot in San Luis Obispo on the last day of my riding.
